To achieve these aims, multi-disciplinary network of researchers with neurological, ophthalmologic, pharmacological knowledge working in NEST to improve health and social care provision through high quality research.

Members of NEST have expertise in a range of quantitative and qualitative techniques, as well as randomized controlled trials and epidemiological studies. The staff of NEST also have a range of skills in evaluation within health and social care, health economics, literature reviews and other secondary research, and supervision and mentorship.
